Bruce Edward Iggulden Owner/Operater.

Refinish WarrantyWas born at New westminster, British Columbia, Canada in 1950. Being a car nut from the time he was born, he always excelled at anything to do with his hands. With this attribute he managed to earn straight "A's" in arts , woodworking and mechanics all through school. Bruce bought his first car with a buddy at the age of 13, a 1949 Anglia. Together they would drive it around a field on a homemade racetrack until they rolled and totaled it. He was well known for using the school parking lot at lunch time to rebuild his 57 Chevy. His Mother used to cringe everytime he started to tear his 55 Chevy apart on her driveway leaving parts everywhere. Though she was always quite amazed at the short time it would take him to put all the parts back together again and build a car out of them.

Bruce realized his love for Corvettes when he was in his late teens. Other than being quite successful at hussling billiards at the local pubs for a source of money, Bruce lacked something constructive to do with his life. Hense using his love for Corvettes he chose to put that to use by starting Corvette Specialties in 1971 at the age of 21. Corvette Specialties started in a one bay industrial building with an apartment upstairs that Bruce rented. Very soon that building was outgrown and corvette Specialties needed a new home with much more space. By 1973 Bruce had bought his first building to house his growing business but once again that was also soon outgrown. In 1977 Corvette Specialties resided in a 10,000 square foot building built by Bruce and became the venue for a Grand Opening that hosted the Canadian Council of Corvette Clubs 1978 Banquet.

By 1983 Corvette Specialties was in a rapid growth phase and again needed more room to accomadate business. This is when Bruce acquired the 2.5 acres of land at the entrance to Surrey where he designed his new monster, a 17,000 square foot building. Home of corvette Specialties today with a growing staff upwards of fiteen employees.
